I am an undergraduate student pursing a BS in Environmental Science at Drexel University and I expect to graduate in 2029. I began volunteering at the Academy of Natural Sciences in 2024 under the Curator of Diatoms, Marina Potapova. There, I get to experience some of the work that goes into the herbarium’s ongoing projects and learn more about the wonderful little world of diatoms! I am most interested in microorganisms, chemistry, and their role in our environment.
