Emilie Arseneault

I am currently a PhD student in biology at Université Laval, situated in Quebec City. My research focuses on the ecology of diatoms from the Sept-Îles Bay and the development of inference models. I aim to enhance models based on marine coastal diatom assemblages and their applications to trace past environmental changes. I was not familiar with diatoms before starting my PhD and now I spend my days observing these beautiful organisms! I hope to continue studying diatoms and aspire to establish my career in the field of paleoceanography.
