“If you could connect each dot, then you’ve got a diagram of what you think you thought you knew, and if you’re willing to admit that you know nothing, then you’ve got a blueprint for a breakthrough.” ― Shane Koyczan
I earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020 where I studied ecology, evolution, and behavior and environmental engineering. Since then, I have worked on projects that combine the discipline of engineering and ecology. I am now working in Diane McKnight’s lab at the University of Colorado, Boulder studying how diatoms can inform water quality efforts in the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Project in Antarctica.
