I am an organismal biology student at the California State University of Long Beach. I am employed by CSULB’s Stream Ecology and Assessment Laboratory. I am a stream ecologist and lab technician for the Cold Creek Fuel Spill bio-assessment project. I have collected, processed, and identified diatoms from numerous freshwater streams and rivers in southern California.
I am an aspiring biologist/diatomist with an emphasis towards ecology and ecosystem function. My educational goals, volunteer and work experience are indicators of my passion to the field of biology and ultimately a fruitful and fulfilling career.
