May 15, 2026 - Recognition of Pantocsekiella

From 7/29/2015 until 5/15/2026, this genus page included species that were later recognized as belonging to Pantocsekiella, including the former "Cyclotella ocellata group" (Lindavia ocellata, Lindavia comensis, Lindavia delicatula, Lindavia michiganiana, Lindavia rossii, and others). The images and text were edited to exclude those taxa, following Ács et al. (2016). - D. Burge
