  1. Ventral margin tumid
  2. Raphe biarcuate
  3. Ventral fascia wider than dorsal fascia

Valves semi-elliptical with a smoothly arched dorsal margin, and tumid ventral margin. Raphe is biarcuate with proximal ends deflected dorsally. Dorsal fascia distinct and square shaped. The ventral fascia is distinct and wide.
