Craticula cuspidata has acute, rounded and, occasionally, slightly subrostrate ends. In addition, the size range of C. cuspidata is greater than that of C. ambigua. Craticula ambigua is larger than C. accomodiformis. Craticula riparia has smaller, narrower valves.
