Craticula acidoclinata has wider valves with narrower apices. Craticula cuspidata has wider rhombic-lanceolate valves, much narrower apices, and a central area with concave sides. Craticula johnstoniae has rostrate to subcapitate apices. Craticula pampeana has larger valves and a lower stria and areola density.
