Compare

Cymbopleura naviculiformis valves are smaller with a higher stria density and distinctly rostrate, to subcapitate, apices. Cymbopleura hauckii has a lower areola density and apices that are not protracted. Cymbopleura lapponica has narrower valves, 7.5-10 µm in width.
