Compare

Denticula creticola has broadly rounded ends and nodule at the junction of each fibula and the valve margin. Denticula sundayensis has coarser striae (20 in 10 µm) compared to D. subtilis. Denticula rainierensis has a central constriction in larger valves, and rounded apices in smaller valves.
