Valves are linearly-elliptic with bluntly rounded ends. The axial area is narrow, linear and slightly expanded at the small central area. Longitudinal canals are narrow. Striae are biseriate throughout. Striae are parallel in the middle of the valve and become radiate toward the valve apices.
