  1. Valves only slightly dorsiventral
  2. Valves linear-lanceolate
  3. Apices rounded
  4. Striae parallel

Valves are linear-lanceolate and only very slightly dorsiventral. The apices are rounded and very slightly protracted. The entral area is formed by considerably shortened stria on ventral side and very slightly shortened stria on dorsal side. Striae are parallel and mostly uniseriate, although some valves were found to be biseriate.
