  1. Ventral margin flat to slightly tumid
  2. Valves mostly 5-6 µm wide
  3. Striae may be irregularly spaced
  4. Apices rounded

Valves are lunate, with flat to slightly tumid ventral margins and rounded apices. Most valves 5-6 µm wide. Striae number 8-11 in 10 µm, but some valves may have irregular striae. Areolae are fine.
