Epithemia Alpestris Guide

Valves are dorsiventral with protracted and slightly reflexed ends. The costae are slightly radiate and have some irregularity in spacing. Costae are 2-3 in 10 µm, and striae are 10-12.5 in 10 µm. The proximal raphe ends are close to the dorsal margin.
