Eunotia metamonodon has a more convex dorsal margin, lower stria density, variable spacing between striae, and apices that are slightly dorsally constricted coming to a terminal point.
Eunotia tauntoniensis has narrower valves, is less arcuate, and apices are expanded to apiculate.
Eunotia formica has variably spaced striae, an inflated valve center, weakly capitate apices with acutely rounded ends, and the helictoglossae are positioned further onto the ventral side of the apices.
Eunotia parallela has less arcuate valves, may be narrower, and the terminal raphe fissure and helictoglossae are positioned more ventrally.
