  1. Valves arcuate
  2. Valves taper toward the apices
  3. Apices rounded to acutely rounded
  4. Distal raphe fissures recurved

Valves are arcuate. Valve margins are parallel near the apices. Some specimens may have a ventral swelling near the center of the valve. Valves are narrow, with round apices in larger specimens, to acutely rounded in smaller specimens. Distal raphe fissures are recurved.
