  4. Valve center inflated
  5. Striae variably spaced

Valves are arcuate and dorsi-ventral, with weakly capitate apices. The ends are rounded to apiculate. In most specimens, the valve center is gibbous. Transapical striae may be regularly or irregularly spaced. Areolae are distinct.
