Valves are arcuate. The dorsal margin is broadly arched, forming a “hump”. The apices are broadly rounded, but terminate with a pointed end, particularly in larger specimens. Helictoglossae are distinguishable near the dorsal margin, as dark, rounded structures. The raphe curves around the apices onto the ventral margin. Areolae are distinct in LM. The sternum is visible near the ventral margin.
