Eunotia superbidens is close in size to E. praerupta; however, E. superbidens differs by having a biundulate dorsal margin and higher stria density. In comparison with E. bidens, valves of E. superbidens are larger in length and breadth. In addition to larger valves, E. superbidens has lower areola density than E. richbuttensis.
