Compare

Hannaea arcus is distinguished from H. arcus var. amphioxys by a steeper angle of the ventral margin and a more abruptly swollen central central area in H. arcus var. amphioxys. Hannaea superiorensis is larger, more arcuate and found in the upper Great Lakes.
