Valves are concave or convex, with a strong concentrically undulate valve face. Valve face with 2-4 rimoportulae. Central area covering approximately 1/2 of the valve diameter. Marginal fultoportulae are seen as shadow lines near the valve margin, positioned on every 2-3 costae. This species is considered to be extinct.
