  1. Orbiculi depressi and papillae 2-6
  2. Central area 1/3-2/3 of valve face
  3. Striae end irregularly around central area
  4. Marginal costae may branch
  5. Marginal fultoportula every 4-5 costa

Valves are disc-shaped, with 2-6 orbiculi depressi and papillae in the central area. The central area is about 1/3-2/3 of the valve face. The central area is often variable in shape because of the irregular proximal striae ends. Costae branch in some specimens, bearing marginal fultoportulae every 4-5 costae.
