Compare

Distinguished from Aneumastus pseudotusculus in the finer striae, smaller valves and the presence of locules. Mastogloia smithii is very similar to M. albertii, yet M. smithii has not yet been verified in North America. Mastogloia smithii differs in valve outline, possesses axial costae and has a higher stria density.
