Valves are linear with wedge-shaped apices. The central area is asymmetric, trapezoid on primary side, semi-circular on secondary side. External proximal raphe ends are bent towards primary side of the valve. The central nodule is asymmetrically expanded to the primary side. Areolae are visible under LM, 22-26 in 10 μm.
