Nitzschia Serpentiraphe Guide
  1. Valves constricted at the center
  2. Apices bluntly rounded
  3. Fibulae coarse
  4. Striae uniseriate, punctate
  5. Fibulae separated by 2-3 rows of striae

Valves are linear and constricted in the center. Apices are tapered and bluntly rounded. Fibulae are coarse, 5-6 in 10 µm. Striae are robust, with 2-3 striae between each fibulae.
