Valves are broadly elliptic with rounded, sometimes slightly protracted apices. Raphe valve has narrow, straight axial area, widening towards rhomboid central area. Raphe does not have terminal fissures. Axial area on rapheless valve is broad, rhomboid, with one-sided horseshoe depression extended to the valve margin.
