Compare

Stauroneis kuelbsii is very similar to S. superkuelbsii, but much smaller and with a higher stria density. Stauroneis heinii is similar in size and dimensions to S. superkuelbsii, but is easily separated by its wider apices, wider stauros, and rounded (not elongate) areolae bordering the stauros.
