Compare

Adlafia minuscula is elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, without capitate ends. Adlafia bryophila is parallel to slightly convex in outline, with bluntly rounded, rostrate ends. Striae are not visible in Nupela wellneri in LM. Nupela impexiformis is heterovalvar, with a raphe lacking on one valve. Also, striae are not visible in LM in N. impexiformis.
