Amphicampa mirabilis has more strongly arcuate valves. Eunotia serpentina has acutely rounded apices and is lacks a dorsal undulation at the valve center. Eunotia neosiberica has very broad dorsal and ventral undulations. Eunotia serra has much wider valves and has a smooth ventral margin.
