  1. Valves strongly dorsiventral
  2. Valves 7.2-9.2 µm wide
  3. Apices narrow subrostrate
  4. Stigmata two
  5. Ventral margin weakly convex

Valves are strongly dorsiventral and 7.2 to 9.2 µm wide. Apices are narrow and rostrate to subrostrate. Two isolated stigmata occur at the proximal ends of the median ventral striae. The ventral margin is weakly convex.
