  1. Valves <50 µm in length
  2. Raphe lateral
  3. Striae 9-14 in 10 µm
  4. Areolae 24-28 in 10 µm

Valves are less than 50 µm in length. The central area is small and oval. The raphe is reverse lateral. Proximal raphe ends are deflected ventrally. Striae number 9-14 in 10 µm and areolae number 24-28 in 10 µm. Stigmata are absent.
