  3. Apices bluntly rounded
  4. Stigmata 2-5

Valves are lanceolate and dorsiventral, and up to 78 µm long and 14.3 µm wide. The apices are bluntly rounded, but are not protracted. Stigmata typically number 2-4, but in some specimens 5 stigmata are present.
