Encyonopsis krammeri has narrowly lanceolate valves with rostrate apices. Valves are generally less than 20 µm in length. Valves are moderately dorsiventral with a strongly arched dorsal margin and a flat, or weakly convex, ventral margin. Striae number 25-30 in 10 μm.
