Compare

Encyonopsis lacuscaerulei is the only species of Encyonopsis that has linear valves with triundulate or concave margins. Cymbopleura incertiformis var. linearis also has linear valves, but the distal raphe ends are deflected dorsally and the apices are straight, not bent towards the ventral margin.
