Compare

The morphology of E. trinacria is most similar to E. microcephala and E. rushforthii. The central undulation on the dorsal margin of E. trinacria is less prominent than that of E. microcephala and slightly more prominent than that of E. rushforthii. The ventral margin of E. microcephala has two weak undulations that are less prominent or absent from valves of E. trinacria. Valves of E. trinacria are narrower than valves of E. rushforthii.
