Compare

Kobayasiella okadae and K. subtilissima have wider valves that are 7 to 9 µm and 5 to 6 µm wide, respectively. Valves of K. parasubtilissima have a larger length-to-width ratio (6 to 9) and striae that are more difficult to resolve near the central area.
