Lindavia affinis has a less undulate valve face and a lower density of marginal fultoportulae. Lindavia bodanica has a nearly flat valve face and striae that rarely branch. Lindavia intermedia has a broader concentric undulation and the alveolate striae cover a larger proportion of the valve face. Lindavia lemanensis has a flat central area, with a marked step toward the margin.
