Compare

Surirella angusta is narrower than most Surirella species (<12 µm) and has a low keel. Valves are isopolar, unlike S. pinnata and S. suecica. Surirella angusta has a flat valve face, while S. amphioxys has undulations, or porcae, on its valve face.
