THE 14th EUROPEAN DIATOM MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED


Lake Ohrid is a deep and ancient lake of tectonic origin that has existed for several million years. It is the home of many endemic species of freshwater flora and fauna.

The European Diatom Meeting aims to focus on relevant trends in diatomology. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers from different fields in diatom research to discuss recent advances, share innovative ideas, and promote international collaborations.

The International Society for Diatom Research (IDSR), The Association ofFrench Language Diatomists (ADLaF), and the Dutch-Flemish Society of Diatomists(NVKD) are providing financial support for the participation of 15 students. The support will cover the registration fee and accommodation during the conference. Students who would like to receive financial support should provide a letter of interest, CV and a recommendation letter by 1 March 2022.

Important deadlines are:

Registration: 1 February
Abstract submission: 1 March
Notice of acceptance: 1 April
Symposium excursion booking: 1 April
Registration cancellation (75% refund): 1 April
