Diatoms of North AmericaJonah Ventures is offering a limited number of complimentary eDNA sample analyses to support graduate student research in 2026. This program is designed to help generate preliminary or supplemental data, with priority given to novel or exploratory applications of eDNA—including diet reconstruction, air, water, or other emerging sample types using either metabarcoding or targeted capture. We anticipate supporting up to five projects, with approximately $1,500 in analytical support per project. Our goal is to help promising ideas move forward by reducing early analytical barriers and enabling students to build experience with eDNA while strengthening proposals, manuscripts, or pilot studies.
