Global ocean patterns of planktonic diatoms

Description: We utilize molecular and morphological data generated by Tara Oceans expeditions, spanning pole to pole, to describe marine diatom diversity, abundance, and environmental adaptation and acclimation strategies. This comprehensive study offers insights amid global change and oceanic
anthropogenic impacts.

Target Audience: those interested in marine planktonic diatom diversity and biogeography and/or the use of molecular methods (metabarcoding, metatranscriptomics).
