Golden(-brown) Opportunities: Diatoms in Education

Description: Diatoms are often excluded in our education system and therefore, remain unknown to the general public. This webinar will describe the current state of diatom education and implications for science literacy, explore how diatoms can be used in both formal and informal settings for K-12, higher, and life-long education, and present examples of curriculum activities.

Target Audience: This webinar is for anyone interested in facilitating diatom education including researchers, K-12 and higher education instructors, environmental educators, and students.
