Diatoms of North AmericaIntercalibration/harmonization in the Nordic Baltic network
Description: This presentation will address the work of the Nordic-Baltic Network for Benthic Algae in Freshwater (NorBAF), an organization of people working with benthic algae in Scandinavia and countries around the Baltic Sea. The group is currently performing the 6th diatom intercalibration/harmonization exercise based on the understanding that it is important to harmonize diatom identification for assessment.
